Other Themes Have Functionality Limitations – Divi Gives You Control
Many other WordPress themes (especially free themes), are limited and restricted in several ways. I’m not saying these themes aren’t good, many of them are great. I’ve made video tutorials showing you how to use 11 really good free themes. But, they still have limitations and restrictions. Lets say for example, you want to add 2 very popular types of content: a slide show and a call to action. You may be able to do that with a free theme but in many cases, you can only add those functionality options (slideshows, call to actions, blurbs, etc…) to one page – your home page. With the Divi theme, you can add any type of functionality to any page or blog post that you want.
Some of the functionality options included with the Divi theme include:
Video Backgrounds
Blurbs
Social Media Options
Icons
Pricing Tables
Slideshows
Call to Actions
Image Galleries
Testimonials
The list goes on..
Customization Options Galore
The Divi theme also enables you to customize virtually every component of your site. With the Divi Builder (included with the theme) every page or blog post can have a custom layout with custom colors, fonts, background colors, background images and background videos. You don’t have to settle on one background color or background image for your site when you want to have multiple backgrounds for several different pages. The Divi theme frees you up to do whatever you want to do.
In my comprehensive tutorial (and trust me, it is comprehensive) I walk you through everything you need to know to create and customize your website with the Divi theme.

In this tutorial, I show you how to use an amazing free WordPress theme called Zerif from themeisle.com. Zerif is probably the easiest theme I’ve ever used to make a website because it automatically adds demo content to your site when the theme is installed. You can quickly and easily replace this demo content with your own content as I illustrate in the video.
Zerif is also a perfect choice for creating a single page website which seems to be a popular choice for businesses that really want to showcase their product or service in a condensed way. Of course you can create a traditional multi-page website as well.
To make it even easier for you to learn and follow the tutorial, I created an extensive visual PDF guide that includes text and screen shots of the tutorial. The guide outlines the steps in the video so that the two work well together.
