Many of the services I use are free but there are a couple of paid services that I highly recommend:

HostGator

My #1 recommendation for web hosting is HostGator.

HostGator meets my strict requirements for being reliable, with excellent uptime (99.9% uptime guarantee) and for being affordable.  They also provide 24/7 customer support via phone or live chat.

The Tools I Use to Make My Video Tutorials

Screenflow

I use Screenflow to record all of my videos.  I find it very easy and intuitive to use.

Rode NT-USB Condenser Microphone

This is the microphone I upgraded to and I am incredibly impressed with it.  The sound quality is excellent and it is definitely a more affordable solution. I love that it just works. I plug it right in to my computer and I’m ready to record.  You can hear the mic in my Divi tutorial.

NEEWER Microphone Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stand

This is the inexpensive mic stand I use that mounts to my desk (no drilling or construction required).

Graphics and Image Editing

Pixlr

The free Pixlr editor is a powerful image editing application similar (in some ways) to Photoshop.

PicMonkey

PicMonkey is an online graphics/image editing application that I use for Logo Design.  They have a paid version with more features but I’ve only used the free version.

Pixabay

I use Pixabay frequently for free, high quality stock photos.  Pixabay is amazing because you can use any images they have for free and you don’t even have to include an attribution to the creator.
