In this video, you’ll learn how to use several key features of the Pro Version of Elementor.
You’ll learn how to create and customize the following:
The Slides element makes it easy to quickly create custom slideshows with background colors and images, headings, text, and customizable, clickable buttons. You’ll be able to control slide transitions and content animations as well as customize your color and typography options for every aspect of your slideshow. You’ll also learn about boxed layout, full-width, and full screen slideshow options.
Advanced Contact Forms
The Forms element included with the Elementor Pro makes it easy to create advanced form fields so that you can collect a wide variety of data types. You’ll learn how to use standard text fields, message fields, and email fields and you’ll also learn about advanced form types such as radio options, checkboxes, and selection option form field types. Everything can be customized so you’ll be able to control what your forms actually say as well as all of your styling options including typography, font color, background color, form field borders and more.
Blog Posts Filtering and Display Options
The Posts element enables you to display blog posts in sophisticated ways. You’ll be able to use advanced query options to determine exactly what blog posts show up and you can specify exactly how you want your blog posts to appear with the style options included with Elementor Pro. This can be done anywhere on your site so if you want to include blog posts from specific categories on multiple pages throughout your site, the Posts element makes this easy to do.
The Countdown element enables you to create a sense of urgency or scarcity on your site. You’ll be able to set up your WordPress clock and specify a deadline for your countdown timer. You can place countdown timers anywhere on your site and you can customize your timer’s appearance options.
In this comprehensive tutorial, you’ll learn how to use the free Generate Press theme and the free Elementor Page Builder. Elementor allows you to customize 100% of the content between your website’s header and footer. This means you’ll be able to create world-class, custom web designs with no coding or coding knowledge necessary.
This tutorial is definitely more thorough and more sophisticated that most of my previous tutorials because there is just so much you can do with the Elementor Page Builder. With that said, the video is designed so that absolute beginners can follow along and recreate the exact website that I demonstrate (although most people will need to watch certain sections more than once to fully grasp the process).
I also encourage you to download my free PDF guide that includes and Elementor introduction as well as all of the Demo text and links to all the images and video I use. This way, you can easily follow along and imitate the examples on your own site, using the demo content. I strongly believe that the best way to learn anything is by doing so the PDF guide is there for you to make it a little easier for you to go through the examples on your own WordPress site.
Some of the things covered in this tutorial are:
Setting up a domain name and hosting account
Coming up with a custom color scheme
Creating a Logo
Installing the Generate Press theme
Installing the Elementor Page Builder
Creating virtually unlimited custom layouts
Adding background colors, images and videos to any section on your site
Controlling all of your website fonts with over 600 Google fonts
Using some of the 400 icons included with Elementor
If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your WordPress website and you really want to have things like more control, more customization options, better design features, more functionality, and fewer restrictions the Divi theme may be a perfect fit for you. Other Themes Have Functionality Limitations – Divi Gives You Control
Many other WordPress themes (especially free themes), are limited and restricted in several ways. I’m not saying these themes aren’t good, many of them are great. I’ve made video tutorials showing you how to use 11 really good free themes. But, they still have limitations and restrictions. Lets say for example, you want to add 2 very popular types of content: a slide show and a call to action. You may be able to do that with a free theme but in many cases, you can only add those functionality options (slideshows, call to actions, blurbs, etc…) to one page – your home page. With the Divi theme, you can add any type of functionality to any page or blog post that you want.
Some of the functionality options included with the Divi theme include:
Social Media Options
Call to Actions
The list goes on..
Customization Options Galore
The Divi theme also enables you to customize virtually every component of your site. With the Divi Builder (included with the theme) every page or blog post can have a custom layout with custom colors, fonts, background colors, background images and background videos. You don’t have to settle on one background color or background image for your site when you want to have multiple backgrounds for several different pages. The Divi theme frees you up to do whatever you want to do.
In my comprehensive tutorial (and trust me, it is comprehensive) I walk you through everything you need to know to create and customize your website with the Divi theme.
You can check out the Divi Theme here (Affiliate Link) and watch the comprehensive tutorial below:
In this tutorial, I show you how to use an amazing free WordPress theme called Zerif from themeisle.com. Zerif is probably the easiest theme I’ve ever used to make a website because it automatically adds demo content to your site when the theme is installed. You can quickly and easily replace this demo content with your own content as I illustrate in the video.
Zerif is also a perfect choice for creating a single page website which seems to be a popular choice for businesses that really want to showcase their product or service in a condensed way. Of course you can create a traditional multi-page website as well.
To make it even easier for you to learn and follow the tutorial, I created an extensive visual PDF guide that includes text and screen shots of the tutorial. The guide outlines the steps in the video so that the two work well together.
